New album Easy Does It due May 30

Just days before embarking on his headlining tour with his biggest venues yet, Curb Records multi-Platinum artist Dylan Scott proves to be a powerhouse in country music as his single “This Town’s Been Too Good To Us” soars to No. 1 on the Billboard and Mediabase Country charts, marking his sixth career No.1 and second of 2025. Written by Scott alongside heavy-hitters John Byron, Ashley Gorley, Taylor Phillips and Ryan Vojtesak, the tune serves as the first single from Scott’s recently-announced new album Easy Does It, due May 30 (pre-save here).

“This No. 1 is special to me!” said Scott. “A song about where I grew up and the people I grew up with. To be able to have two songs hit No. 1 in 2025 is crazy! I’m grateful for my promo team at Curb who fight for my music every single day and to all the radio stations out there that continue to support my music. Thank y’all!”

Brimming with “nostalgia and reflection for a well-spent youth” (MusicRow), “This Town’s Been Too Good To Us” pays homage to Scott’s hometown of Bastrop, Louisiana as he reminisces on the fleeting memories that shaped him. Nods to the small town reflect throughout the 11-track album Easy Does It, tying in themes of heartbreak, committed love and family values. Scott gave a sneak peek into the album last Friday (3/28) with the release of “I Hate Whiskey,” following previous tracks like “I Owe You One,” “You’d Think I Was A Cowboy” and “What He’ll Never Have,” the latter of which already surpassing 285M global streams.

“This Town’s Been Too Good To Us” marks the second No. 1 this year alone for Scott as his collaboration with Dylan Marlowe, “Boys Back Home,” claimed the coveted spot just two months ago. As a result, Scott is currently the fourth most-played artist at Country radio so far this year, behind Morgan Wallen, Post Malone and Jelly Roll. The two hits join his growing list of chart-toppers like “My Girl,” “Nobody,” “New Truck” and “Can’t Have Mine.”

The road warrior will begin his headlining Country Till I Die Tour this Thursday (4/3), hitting his biggest venues yet. The run will kick off in Boston and visit 17 cities coast-to-coast including major markets like New York City and a trip across the border for two shows in Ontario. Special guests George Birge, Dasha and Graham Barham will join select dates. In addition, Scott recently announced a headlining fall show in Nashville at new venue The Pinnacle on September 26, joined by rising artists George Birge and Mackenzie Carpenter. The Louisiana native thrived on the road last year, serving as direct support on Cole Swindell’s Win The Night Tour before embarking on his own headlining I Owe You One Tour, which saw high demand from fans through sold-out shows.

ABOUT DYLAN SCOTT:

Curb Records recording artist Dylan Scott is a triple threat — a powerful vocalist with a deep, unmistakable drawl, an old-soul songwriter with a young spirit and a family man with a tender heart. The multi-Platinum singer has notched six No. 1 singles at radio (“My Girl,” “Nobody,” “New Truck,” “Can’t Have Mine,” “Boys Back Home” with Dylan Marlowe and “This Town’s Been Too Good To Us”), as well as Top 5 hit “Hooked.” Following his first career nomination for Best New Country Artist at the all-genre iHeartRadio Music Awards and a coveted spot among Country Radio Seminar’s New Faces of Country Music, his Platinum-certified ode to his wife, “Nobody,” earned him a 2021 CMT Music Award for Breakthrough Video of the Year. Scott earned a 2023 and 2024 ACM nomination in the category, New Male Artist of the Year. Alongside Jason Crabb, Scott won his first GMA Dove Award in 2023 for the song, “Good Morning Mercy.” With career streams surpassing 4 billion, the Louisiana native has provided tour support for Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan and Chris Young, among others, cementing him as an in-demand live act. He will embark on his headlining Country Till I Die Tour this spring, hitting his biggest venues yet. His new album Easy Does It reflects themes of heartbreak, committed love and nods to the small town that raised him, available everywhere May 30.
