December 5th, 2011 – Powerhouse vocalist, social activist & and four-time GMA Female Vocalist of the Year, Natalie Grant, was nominated for a 54th Annual Grammy Award for Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance, for her stellar presentation of “Alive” (Mary Magdalene), from: Music Inspired By The Story [WOW Joint Venture/EMI CMG/Curb].
For the fourth year, nominations for the annual GRAMMY Awards were announced on primetime television as part of “The GRAMMY® Nominations Concert Live!! — Countdown To Music’s Biggest Night®,” a one-hour special broadcast live on CBS from Nokia Theatre at L.A. LIVE.
“What a dream to be nominated for a Grammy,” says Grant. “But the sweetest part is that it’s for the performance of the song “Alive,” which my husband co-wrote and co-produced, so this is extra special for me.”
